Have you seen Achmed the terrorist? He is one of those rare comedy acts that really does make people laugh in this day and age.
He is a fictional ventriloquists dummy, made, created and owned by Jeff Dunham - an extremely funny stand up comedian who has worked tirelessly at making it big since the 1980's. Over the years he gradually got slices of fame on various TV shows but really hit it big when his main character Achmed The Terrorist came to life one day.
Achmed is basically a skeletal dummy masquerading as a suicide bomber, but a very bad one who tried to explode a bomb but ended up just blowing himself up.
When asked about the lack of skin and body on him, he replies saying that "it is just a flesh wound!"
A typical routine involves Achmed the dead terrorist aside Jeff Dunham (where else?) scanning the audience members and shouting out to them: "Silence! I kill you!" - his trademark catchphrase. The trouble is that the members of the audience are not able to keep silent - in fact this only makes them laugh a lot more!
As a huge fan of Achmed the dead terrorist I am always on the look out for Achmed merchandise and novelties.
